I hope Criterion can release a Jackie Chan boxset. Im pretty sure the police stories sold extremely well, I would love more 80s - 90s Hong Kong films in general Chinese ghost story, Zu warriors, Full contact, A better tomorrow. There is so many classics to choose from and they're some of the most influential action films of all time

Probably not getting announced ahead of its wide theatrical release in February.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire is getting a Feb 14 release in the states. I don’t think they’d announce until after that

Oh, for some reason I thought it had its theatrical run already, just in a limited capacity, and that was going to be it. I know it played here in nyc at a few art house theaters, but I didn't get a chance to see it. If that's the case, then for sure it won't come out till much later.

I think when it got dropped as France’s submission it’s theatrical release got thrown out of whack!
