Illegal, yes. Hard, yes. Intent (or even high likelihood) to injure, no. Odor's throw was actually significantly more dangerous than Bautista's slide.

Seems like he's the fall guy, because no manager was going to have any success with that roster. Management has clearly been in full tanking mode for the last couple years by getting rid of practically everyone high priced for young talent. Teams have seen this strategy work for the Cubs and Astros in recent years so it's just going to get more common.

And if even half of the Braves guys work out, they'll be competing for a long time again. Teheran had occurred great for almost a year solid, Wisler and Folty both look like top of the rotation guys. Ozzie Albies took some time to get acclimated at AAA and is raking now. Same for Mallex Smith at the pro level. And Dansby Swanson isn't far from a AAA call-up.

He's claiming that one of his supplements were tainted...or he grabbed a teammates. These incidents happen an awful lot in major league baseball.

In those 2 losses, the Cubs have had 1 total hit.
