Hopefully the commissioner starts suspending these candy ass pitchers. I have no respect at all with pitchers who do this and don't have to stand in the box themselves, freaking tulips! They’re gonna get plunked. There’s nothing they could do about it until Manfred makes some real moves that satisfy the league/fans and most importantly, sets an example for the integrity of the sport going forward so that nothing like this happens again.

None of this would be happening if the commissioner actually suspended the cheaters in the first place.

If anyone has been a "freaking tulip," it's been the Houston Astros and Commissioner Manfred. The Astros have cheated fans, the game, and history. Bregman, Altuve, Correa, and the like, all deserve to get plunked. Welcome to how baseball takes care of internal issues within the game.

That was a fun quiz. I got 22 out of 30 right.

Some of them were absolute lay-ups (Detroit's hits leader, for example), but some of them completely caught me off guard.

I never thought they would be able to resign him. I expected him to have ridiculous money thrown at him by some other team and the brewers wouldn't be able to even come close.

It's possible the injury risk made Yelich think of an extension. But that guy has zero doubt about his ability. I think he extended just because he likes winning in Milwaukee after being in Miami and signing that very team friendly 7 year deal with Miami.

While the contract is still in the top 20 by AAV, you didn't have to extend Yelich until he's 40 which seems to be a trend among the best free agents.
