I guess my plan of watching the Angels game at Buffalo Wild Wings is out of the question because they're now all closed, except for pickup and delivery. Listening to the game on the radio.

I really do hate Sling and its scorched-earth negotiation tactics right about now because Fox Sports West was one of the biggest reasons I signed up for the Sling Blue package in the first place. I'm basically paying $30 a month for news, a few TV shows, and the NBA and MLB playoffs on TNT and TBS.

Cheap, fast, good - pick two. This adage applies to my TV situation.

You still have an extremely good team. I'd be surprised if the Twins GM and ownership doesn't say damn the consequences and starts trading for postseason pieces at the trade deadline.

But you were up against the White Sox who can bash and slug home runs as good as any team in the league. I don't know much about Dobnak, but Keuchel is still a decent pitcher (half of the time).

That's a little different than the initial report from Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle, which stated that Verlander would be shut down for the remainder of the season with a right elbow elbow injury. Still, it could be difficult for the veteran right-hander to make it back given the condensed schedule. He'll be reevaluated around the middle of August and seems certain to miss at least a month of action.

Marlins have a COVID outbreak. Phillies-Yankees and Orioles-Marlins have reportedly been postponed. I wonder if this is the beginning of the end.

Well that was fun while it lasted, already two series have been postponed tonight due to the outbreak in the Marlins locker room. Outside of bubble sports i just don't think these leagues are going to be able to manage this.

Well unfortunately MLB is not in a bubble like the NBA so it's much harder to mitigate the spread if someone gets it. NFL opens most camps tomorrow, all eyes on this situation and what happens next.

As a result, the Marlins have postponed their home opener against the Orioles on Monday. The team has delayed their travel back to Philadelphia while trying to control the situation.
