I remember once in 1997, I saw the Royals 2 hit the Blue Jays... it was pretty crappy lol I think it was Sabrehegan(spelling) vs Hentgen for the Jays. Ended up losing 4-1 or something... ZZZzzzzzzzzzz

Have had good luck besides that game though... usually treated to alot of home runs and higher scores. Go up once a year for 2 games usually.

Haha, well it's just as much of a disadvantage as an advantage, since the visiting team gets to hit in the same stadium.

I'm worried Howard might get 5 HR in a single game.

Yankees tied the game in the 9th, should've won it in the 10th (1st and 2nd, nobody out... ended up not scoring).

Looks like they may end up losing 4-3 after 11, but they have 2 outs left.

Anyway, Teix had a broken-bat home run earlier in the game. Don't see those too often. And I don't mean the bat made a cracking noise, and had a fracture in it... the bat shattered into pieces.

Blah... I take comfort in knowing that the Cubs are colder than the Jays right now haha.

Wells and Rios = garbage pretty much all season so far. Perfect #3 and 4 hitters :P

Toronto needs a win, especially next Saturday! They really need to end this skid!

Last summer we were at a Braves/Jays game, 1-0 Jays final but Burnett had like 10 strikeouts! Pretty boring game and we didn't even notice how many K's AJ had until he hit 10. Saw a game against the A's last season where Frank Thomas hit a grand slam in I think the 1st or 2nd inning, it was like 6-5 after 2 or 3 innings then the game just died down (Jays lost). Saw the home opener where we beat up on the Tigers, and saw them get beat by the Yankees a couple weeks ago. My games are all over the map!

And yes we need a win... same as the past few springs... once we hit inter-league on the road, we get pounded! Last year it was the Brewers and Pirates.

Haha. After the Yankees tied it up in the 9th yesterday, I thought they were going to end up winning. Had they won, they would've been tied for 1st with Boston.

Things are looking good though. They're 14-4 since A-Rod is back, and Teix is batting .377 with 8 HRs in those 18 games.

Hopefully the pitching doesn't fall apart (Wang came back the other day, pitched an inning as a reliever, and gave up a run. I guess that's an improvement, because earlier this year he was giving up 4-5 runs per inning.

Haha. Good to see that Toronto and NY are playing more like they each should now.

Hopefully the Yankees can sweep the Rangers, and the Twins can pull out at least one win in their series against Boston, so that the Yankees move up to at least a tie for first.

Yep we're in a slump. Still picthing good and getting the hits, but nothing clutch at all. 9 or 10 again today... 1 run... like WTF!

And this all started after a loss to Tim Wakefield... that guy throws hitters off big time it seems. When he is on his game anyway.

Wells and Rios are fully responsible for this streak. Your 3 and 4 hitters can not go 3 for 24 in a series(Atlanta) and expect to win.

Besides 2 bigger loses since the road trip started, we could have won the other games with a damn clutch hit or 2 so I am not worried. The bats will come around again.

Rays lost 7 games in a row last July... everyone wrote them off, everyone said there they go back to earth but it never happened... there was too much talent for it to matter in the end.

That's baseball, gotta have a short memory and play for the long haul

Go Jays! PUMPED for the weekend series!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could live at Rogers Centre

its crazy watching him pitch like some times hell give up like 3+ runs and be out in like 1-4 innings of work and then others he can just dominate with that KB

I went there a few times as a kid (back when it was still the SkyDome, obviously), and was fascinated with the idea of living inside of it.

Live/sleep in a hotel room, get all my meals from either the hotel or Hard Roc k, work somewhere in the SkyDome (manager of a hotel or something?) and then at night go see whatever game was going on (Raptors or Blue Jays, or whatever).

I guess it's possible.

Nolan Ryan made it to 46, and he was a power-pitcher, so someone like Wakefield should be able to at least match that.

He may've only appeared in 13 games in his final season, but one of those was this memorable one:
