We haven't seen a primarily farm team that graduates all of its prospects with a low to mid budget and then win a championship since the Royals and Cubs.

I've always had a soft spot for the Orioles. As a Jays fan, it's pretty impossible to like any other team in the AL East, but the Orioles certainly come the closest.

I'm not sure if I posted this here, but this article on MLB.com goes into the history of that Orioles Magic song and it's still pretty famous even compared to the other late 70's/early 80's team anthems.

The competition in the AL East is no joke. Only division with every team having a winning record. I just noticed the Blue Jays who are in last place, and are 8.5 games back currently has the same record as the first place AL Central Twins, who are 3.5 games ahead.

Unfortunately, being a Jays fan is hard right now for that exact reason.

They keep dropping games to AL East rivals, thus making the Wild Card contention that much more difficult.

Been a tough week, but I know they'll turn it around!

This is just beautiful.

Not only hitting 2 home runs in the game (almost 3), but robbing a home run too. The amount of runs that he not only produces directly, but also runs saved with his presence in the outfield is unreal. Absolutely the MVP.

What's amazing to me is, he leads the AL with 17 home runs, and he missed 11 games.

Seems like a genuinely good guy too.

In the Marly Rivera interview dustup (posted earlier) Judge just seemed to ignore them and focus on taking pictures and signing autographs. I'm pretty sure he heard what she said and gave them both the cold shoulder for the interview.

White Sox- Yankees game is postponed tonight due to the poor air quality.

Aaron Judge was placed on the 10-day IL for a tow sprain he sustained while crashing into the fence against the Dodgers.

Good to go for tomorrow. Father's Day trip with my boys... without the Father's Day craziness.

I'm eager to see the rookie start the night on the mound in person for the first time.

I was at that game. That was a crazy catch, and he held on to it, too! The dude's just a beast!

But would'a been nice if the Dodgers would have won that 6-3 instead. Took my nephew (big Dodgers fan) who drove out from Arizona (he moved there recently from Southern Cali) to that game for his birthday which was that day, 6/3. They got the score right, but were just on the wrong side of it.
