Really unhappy with the Yankees front office giving this the go ahead. Walking billboards now. The sponsorship will last through the 2031 season. I know other teams do it but the Yankees are a freaking institution. Next they’ll add last names!

Red Sox decide that profits are better than championships. Would of been nice to at least add a little depth to see what could happen, Bloom is the wall street journal of MLB GM'ing.

Looks like the Yankees are taking the same approach as the Red Sox which is wave the white flag on the season....

This might not be news to yawl, but I NEVER watch ESPN, and unfortunately they have my team's broadcast today. The announcers have spent 80% of the game so far talking about anything but the game, and now this is what these fools are doing during the top of the 5th... standing around a baseball tee and talking about proper hitting technique

. They don't even bother to post the current game's stats (the score at the bottom is a different game).

This is just comical. No wonder Disney's sports division is failing.

Edit: Forgot to mention, when they did talk about the game, one of the announcers said "there's a 2-run homer by Rosario, who the Dodgers picked up last week, putting the Padres up 2-0." Normally I could let that slide, but then the other guy followed up with a reference to last night's game and how the Padres put up "7 innings" to take an 8-3 lead... uhh, the Padres put up 7 points in the 8th inning to take the lead. F'ing morons.

As if that train wreck of a broadcast couldn't get any worse, one of them tried to call a pitch and was completely wrong. I think he called a breaker but it was a 4 seamer (hint-hint, I'd expect more from a former player). I'm doing a better job predicting the pitches and I didn't play/pitch past high school lmao.

And then Betts hit a homer, and the current guest these fools had on screen (Brad Paisley) cut to his friend in the background (full screen) just to say "hi" the moment Betts launched the ball in the air.

ESPN. This really is the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network.

The Orioles i guess sick and tired of positive press about their team this season decided to suspend their play by play guy for pointing out that the Orioles have won more games this season vs. the Devil Rays then the last 2 seasons combined.

Yes that is it, seriously he was suspended indefinitely for pointing out a legit stat...

Talk about an owner with thin skin, would be nice to see the right thing done and the suspension lifted and placed on the owner of the team by Manfred imo.

Yeah…it’s pretty remarkable.

So the Yankees were no hit by the Brewers through 10 innings today and somehow the yanks managed to win with a walkoff in the 13th haha. Definitely one of the weirdest games and ‘worst’ wins I’ve seen.

Good riddens Chaim Bloom, they should of fired you after botching the Betts trade!

I thought this tone deaf weirdo ownership was going to sit on their hands for another year and watch them run it back with this loser Bloom again, so a pleasant surprise.

I'm thinking the site the other day with yanks doubleheader and the stadium with about 5-10k people in the stands might of been a wake up call for them, well that and literally tickets up on secondary sites for 1$, yes 1$ for a yanks-red sox game is unheard of, even with both teams being lost in mediocrity!

At this point not appointing anyone is an improvement over Bloom so only place to go is up right now!
