Gm 1: CC
Gm 2: AJ
Gm 3: Pettitte

I trust Pettitte more than AJ, but I'd rather have AJ start at home, because he tends to pitch better in NY than on the road, so that's why I'd put him down for Gm 2.

At this point, I wish they would gear Joba up for the bullpen, instead of making him make these useless limited starts, where they take him out after a maximum x amount of innings, regardless of the pitch count.

At least next year the modified Joba rules will be gone, and he'll get to pitch every 5th day, for as many innings as he's good, just like any other pitcher.

Good break-down..I agree...Joba is all over the place. He pitched great last week and was and got spanked yesterday.

Here's something interesting....

If the Rockies win the Wild Card, then the Dodgers (aka, the top record in the NL) won't get to play them, since they're from the same division.

So the Dodgers play the team with the worse record out of St. Louis and Philadelphia, which is currently St. Louis, and will probably stay that way.

So congratulations to the Dodgers for having the best record in their league. Their reward is to face perhaps the most dangerous team in the playoffs. The Cardinals #1 and 2 starters (Wainwright and Carpenter) are probably the toughest 1 & 2 of any team.

Dodgers might not even win the NL West with the way they have been playing. Big 3 game series with the Rockies coming up. Although now that their done losing to the worst teams in the MLB maybe a fire will be lit under their asses. Who does that sound like...oh yea the Lakers.
