Going into this season it was Big Unit. But this year Dallas Braden and Roy Halladay both have perfect games. And Galarraga was robbed on the third one this season.

Gawd I'd forgotten how annoying Cow Bells are... Not as bad as vuvuzuelas but they can be close.

Looks like a surprisingly decent sized crowd in Tampa.

Wonder if the Twins will be in better position to resign their young talent in the future given their big increase in attendance this year. Looked it up and amazingly the Twins are 6th in MLB attendance.

2010 - 39,519 per game (14th)
2009 - 29,466 per game (6th)

That's by far the biggest jump of any MLB team in attendance.

I'm not certain but I believe he is. That's a traditionally Latino last name.

You call 17,000 is a decent crowd?

They can't draw for the life of them. Tampa nor Miami deserves a baseball team. Anyway, Solid start for Vazquez and my Yanks offense to get the w against the tribe.

Liriano has only thrown 58 pitches in 5 shutout innings. At this rate he may make it a complete game shutout in <100 pitches.

Ya, I was wrong. Guess it looked like more than there really was since everyone moved down to the bottom tier of the stadium by the last inning. 17K is about average for a weekday game in Tampa against a team other than Boston or NY.
