cant say im happy on how it ended but what a great game by the Giants!!! Just like gm 1 vs Halladay no one thought Giants would beat Cliff Lee and we did just that!!!.... Freddy Sanchez what a game with 4 hits, 3 of them doubles!!! Gotta love how its always someone else producing for the Giants... Great game!!

Yeah, if you told me this afternoon that the Rangers would score 7 runs, I would've guessed that was way more than enough to win Game 1. Strange game. I wouldn't be surprised at all if tomorrow's game is something like 2-1, because baseball is weird like that.

The Giants really do represent the best of the national league over the last 5 years. They have been firing on all cylinders and its been a blast to watch them all season long like I have.

Yup, still amazes me how well they've been hitting in the post-season after such bad hitting in the regular season, that will be the difference in this World Series I think. Juan Uribe for MVP?

still way to early to tell and the series isnt over yet.. Giants need to find a way to slow down the Rangers offense and Giants wont score 11 runs every game... I expect tonight to be a close 1 run game...

The Yankees and Joe Girardi have reportedly agreed to a three-year, $9 million contract with incentives that could add another $500,000 for winning the World Series. The contract puts Girardi among the top 5 highest-paid managers.

I didn't realize how little baseball managers make compared to other sports. They are far behind NFL, NBA, NCAA football, and even some NCAA basketball coaches (I have no idea what hockey coaches make).
