Sports Illustrated polled MLB players by asking who the most overrated player in the game is. The results were.

1. Alex Rodriguez
2. Joba Chamberlain
3. Derek Jeter
4. Jayson Werth
5. Jonathan Papelbon
6. Nick Swisher
7. BJ Upton
8. David Ortiz
9. AJ Burnett
10. Manny Ramirez

Five of the top ten are Yankees. Not surprising since players voting probably factor pay into the equation and guys like Burnett are badly overpaid.

After more than 50 games into the season Cleveland has the best record in MLB and Minnesota the worst. And check out avg attendance.

Cleveland (best record) - 18.574 (3rd worst in MLB)
Minnesota (worst record) - 38,688 (5th best in MLB)

And the only two teams with worse attendance than Cleveland are Florida and Tampa Bay, both of whom have winning records.

This one started out like it'd be a pitching duel between Masterson and Ogando. If it still is one, then Ogando is tearing Masterson up. 10-1 in the 8th. We're just embarassing them.

Yeah and Joe Torre (MLB's VP of Operations or something like that) is probably gonna reprimand his dumb ass hard. I can't believe were still talking about the Posey collision. When are we/the Giants gonna move on?

What's also stupid is that the guy has tried to apologize to Posey about the collision but Posy isn't accepting it.

That homer by Chipper was an absolute blast. The Met announcers were saying they had never seen a ball hit to that level before at Citi Field.

Cousins went out of his way to blow Posey up at the plate. 90% of players would have taken a normal slide in that situation, not a full-on football hit. Cousins must have played linebacker in high school or something.

Can anybody else think of players who have haunted opposing franchises/division rivals in the same way that Chipper has the Mets?
