Which is why I doubt it. Also, I don't believe he'll be back after his current deal ends. It might depend on how he feels physically (the guy is a shoe in 1st ballot HOF'er).

We need to lock him up. It's difficult to find someone who can pitch well in the AL East look at NL only Burnett and Vasquez.

If he's still performing, I don't see why he wouldn't come back especially if we are still in the hunt for championships. If he starts slipping then I can see him retire, but right now he's looking damn good.
