It'll probably get rain delayed, its starting to rain now, and the game doesn't start till 3 (our time), its 1:30 here now.

No way, ticket prices are insane, plus games 1 & 2 sold out fast, last I checked there was standing room only at $160 a pop, F#@k that...

We've spent more on parking passes so I don't have a problem with it for a significant event

There's a rumor (which could be the beginning of many) that A-Rod would be traded to the Marlins for Heath Bell (not sure how much of his salary the Yankees would pick up).

I would think for the Yankees to trade A Rod they'd have to pick up at least 80% of his salary. A Rod is nowhere near the player he used to be and brings a lot of drama with him, so I would think the Yankees would have to pick up a ton of salary to get rid of A Rod.

Dodgers already have $190 Million committed for 2013, more than any other team... Its pitching they need, not another bat

Yeah I've heard 80+ lol if he drops off much further it will be worth it.

Holy crap....that's a lot of money for standing room. In St. Louis, standing room is about $50. I paid $165 each for my tickets, but I'm fairly low in the outfield and the tickets are all-inclusive.....so all my drinks and food are included. I could have gotten regular tickets for about $80.

Unless the Yankees are going to eat 80%+ of A-Rod's contract there's no way. The Marlins proved this season they won't draw fans even with big signings and a new stadium.

Yeah A Rod's play has regressed significantly, he should be in Triple A or at least retire.....i was a fan of his when he played with Seattle alongside Griffey Jr.....wow was that along time ago.

That team was loaded with offense as were the Orioles at the time. Yet after the big three left over three seasons (Johnson, Griffey and A-Rod), they inexplicably won 116 games in a season.
