They'll get nothing without paying at least half.

I don't think any other team would take A-Rod, without the Yankees practically having to eat the entire salary. His body is breaking down and he will have to DH very soon on a permanent basis. That eliminates any NL team and he'd likely have veto control over anywhere he could be traded. He would likely want a small stadium to play in where he could pursue the all-time homerun record.

It's clear that the NLCS is the better series since the ALCS is a complete snooze fest (except for game 1). It's not a snooze fest for Tigers though.

But, the third baseman is from Miami and has obviously fallen out of favor in New York. Matthews and Marchand mention the possibility of the Marlins unloading Heath Bell's contract onto the Yanks. Nothing is remotely close to happening anytime soon, but it's something to monitor over the winter.

Yeah, it has quit raining at my house, and I'm 20 minutes from the ballpark.....they'll get it in, but it might be another hour before they start....at least that is what the local channels are saying.....
