Uhh Yeah ok whatever, im going to assume based on the fact your from New York your a Yankees fan. Cabrera got called out because it was a good well placed pitch nothing more nothing less, he pitched the most dangerous hitter in the game perfect. It is what it is, hats off to the Giants on a well played series.

anyone know what the ratings for this series was? Has to be abysmal....what a boring ass series for anyone other than Giants fans...

Game 1 had the lowest game 1 ratings in World Series history and the third-worst ratings for any WS game ever. Game 2 had the lowest game 2 ratings in TV history. Which is why MLB wanted Det vs Cards as it would have gotten better ratings.

Hopefully the Reds can get it figured out. It's been 22yrs since our last WS title (and probably longer than some BD members here have been born.)

While it hurts (A LOT), I gotta give it up to the Giants. They outplayed us in every area, in every game. Don't want to take anything away from them, but I just don't get how we never showed up. We never looked like we even wanted to try to win. I think the Tigers (and myself and Vegas) thought they would win easily. It's not the reason they lost, but it seems like sweeping the Yanks and having all that wait time hurt quite a bit. It was almost like the Tigers peaked during the ALCS, while the Giants peaked during the WS.

We'll be back next year, and with Illitch at the head, we'll be better.

They have so much fundamentally wrong with them it will be hard for them to make it back. Infield is the worst in baseball. They dont run, they dont steal, hitting and 3rd base coaches suck ass. They still need a good outfielder, 2B, SS, C, and a entirely new bullpen and closer. Tigers have way to much wrong and way to high of a payroll to fix it. If they are serious about fixing the problems, Fielder or Miggy has to go, right now hate to say it but id trade Miggy.

Bring up Castanellos to play 3B
Move Porcello to Reliver roll
Trade Miggy for a starting SS, 2B and either C or LHP as well as some prospects, starters must have .275/.280 avg as well as 75+ RBI a season and a good OBP as well as the ability to steal 25 bases a season, SS and 2B must have phenominal range thats what killed us.
Go after Hamilton for the OF since Texas stating they wont resign him, Dirks, Jackson, Hamilton in OF would be good
Valverde, Bosch, Young, Peralta all gone
Resign Sanchez all should be good at that point
