I'm a Jays fan and I don't think they'll make the playoffs. I think Dickey will regress, a few key players will get hurt, Arencibia & Lind will continue to suck, and they will finish right around .500 like they usually do.

I hope I am proven wrong though.

I wonder if his will be devalued based on it coming against a AAA team. It's like no hitting the Rays is now a yearly occurrence. It would also be the second perfect game against the Astros in the last 2 years.

A perfect game is a perfect game, and he is dominating in his perfect game. I don't think it's devalued especially after they just beat the Rangers.

Houston is 111-213 over the past two season and likely to lose 100+ this season too. Worst record in MLB for two straight seasons. Only surprise would be if this were the only no-hitter thrown against Houston this year.

Darvish blew that perfecto by throwing a very hittable first pitch to that batter, after it was apparent the Astros were going to start hacking early in the count.

They may be only as talented as a AAA team but they are my team and I will still support them and I'm glad we finally got a hit with 2 outs in the 9th.

That Rangers game last night was everything I love about baseball. A pitcher worked his tail off, pitched an absolute gem, but for just one at bat, a hitter bested him. Anything can and will happen.
