lol do you expect anything less? Buehrle is washed up. He was mediocre at best last year in the NL. AL should tear him a new one.

Exactly (maybe he's worried about his Pitbulls in Buffalo).

At least the lumber has come alive. We just need to win this ballgame and then put it to the visiting Beantowners this weekend. I think once this club gets a road trip under it's belt and they start getting to know one another, the chemistry will groove.

Hope you get to a game this year. Going to see them on the 17th against the White Sox and 19th against the "Skanks".

I saw them in a spring training game last week, but we'll be surely seeing them in Baltimore at least once this summer. This is going to be a special team, I can feel it all the way down to my bones.

That's AWESOME. I've never been to Cambden Yards but it looks like a Great place to see a ballgame.

Agreed, this can be a special team if they come together as a team (remember last year's Marlins

). Hopefully Lawrie will be back soon!!!

That was a vintage Cliff Lee performance against the Braves. I think they've scored a total of one run against him in his last three starts. If Halladay can recover to anywhere close to his old level, the Phillies will definitely be in the hunt.

When attendance figures are released do they go with number of tickets sold or people who actually walk through the turnstiles? Because the figures for the Yankees home games seems to be 40k+ just about every game but when you watch them on TV I swear at least half the seats are empty (especially box seats) the entire game.

I believe it is done by tickets sold, though they also keep track of actual people in the stands.
