I know it's only April, but I'm loving the Reds trade to get Shin Soo Choo. Guy has been on base in every game so far. When Votto heats up, look out.

And the Marlins avg home attendance - 20,086. That's 28th of 30 teams. Tampa Bay is averaging 22,838 at home and they play in a friggin glad bag.

What a CG SHO by Kuroda!! Although it sunk me in fantasy this week, it was much needed. Those Yanks are going to be bottom feeders this year

. A couple of more weeks and we get back to full strength. Gotta keep chugging away. D-Backs are up next. Then a whole lot of Toronto and TB.

There will not be a tripleheader between the Mets and Rockies. The tweet was a joke by the Mets PR director. In addition, scheduled tripleheaders are banned under baseball's collective bargaining agreement:

I feel like thats been the norm for the past few years; great pitching, mediocre hitting.

I pray that this is Maddon's last season.

He puts way too much faith in these older hitters that no other team wants. I roll my eyes every time I see him start 37-year-old Molina. But then again Lobatón is awful as well. All of the new additions are total duds, especially Yunel Escobar. And Joyce is really struggling this season. What happened to Jeff Keppinger? He had a .325 season last year.
