Yeah. You can tell when the only reason we had a power-hitting DH tonight was because we put a weak hitting guy in his spot on the field.

What are you talking about Uggla is horrible in the field and his BA was like .170 last I saw, the guy you had Sat was a much better DH, and the guy you had in the field on Sun could at least not screw up a GB or DP. If I am correct Uggla had like 3 errors this weekend, and 1 gimmie from the scorekeepers on a single up the middle by Cabrera he botched.

I'm not saying we put in a worse defensive guy (though his numbers last year would suggest we did), but Uggla is a power-hitting guy, despite his poor batting average. He also manages an awful lot of walks.

In 332.2 innings last year, Pastornicky saved -16 defensive runs. Uggla's had 3 years lower than -10, but never that low, and always in more than 4 times the innings.

The themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off for local charities after the game, are just one part of the Mud Hens' Star Wars tribute.

According to the team's website, the Mud Hens are sponsoring a Kazoo giveaway (so fans can participate when music from the movie is played) and will have themed food (Yoda Soda, Darth Chocolate Brownie Sundae, etc.). There will also be Star Wars sound effects throughout the game and appearances by Star Wars characters.

I know and Petitte has been dynamite this year. I guess that shows what a couple base hits can do.

I'm interested in seeing how Romine is gonna do.
