Well.....we have the 2nd worst winning % in the American League. We're 2-8 in our last 10 and just got swept in the Bronx. Time for this team to man up and get a divisional win, starting tonight. Gibbons had better get this team on track or he'll be fired.....AGAIN.

It's interesting that the Dodgers activated Hanley Ramirez yesterday because if they had waited until May 1 to activate him the World Baseball Classic would have been responsible for his salary while he was on the DL. For the WBC to cover the salary for a player injured in the WBC a player must miss 30 days, and by activating Ramirez yesterday he only missed 28 days, so the WBC won't be on the hook for the roughly $2.5 million Ramirez earned for that time and instead the Dodgers must pay him.

Most MLB insurance policies don't kick in until a player has been on the DL for 60 or 90 days. A shorter DL stint like Ramirez's would not be covered by insurance.

Halladay is going to be hit and miss this year, but he will help out my team more than Lawrie will. Halladay has showed he can still pitch a good game.

I hope Halladay's ERA hits 10 and he goes 4-14 this year. He's a Phillie by CHOICE. Loved having him as a Jay but he flew the coop (did I mention by choice).

MF...DO NOT give up on Lawrie. He's a good Canadian lad with a hockey mentality and
Major League talent. He's a BULL in a China shop and the rest of this ballclub needs to adapt this mentality. This is a hockey town with fans who have hockey mentalities. Time for the American & Dominican players to quit being soft and hammer it out on every pitch (like Lawrie). If they don't, they'll never be accepted in Toronto.

I'll always have a soft spot for Halladay. He's a really good guy that pitched well for us for a long time.
