Losing their ace (Jared Weaver) certainly didn't help, and they've been hit pretty hard with a number of other key injuries. But with the Trout/Pujols/Hamilton/Trumbo quartet they should still be winning at least half of their games, regardless!

It's increasingly painful to watch a couple $100k players struggle so embarrassingly. I didn't think anyone would be able to top Pujols' horrid start from last year, but up until 2 days ago, Josh Hamilton sure was giving him a run for the money with his horrendous April/May this year. Trout's doing ok, but Trumbo's the only one actually playing well for the Halos right now. Of course, he had a torrid first half last year, but then was a total no-show for the last 2 1/2 months of the season.

At least we've still got the Dodgers. Oh, wait...

MLB suspended Fielden Culbreth 2 games for blowing the substitution rule yesterday, and all 4 umpires were fined.

But Angel Hernandez not following HR and replay rules, potentially costing a team a win, has had no consequences (at least not publicly announced).
