I think his point is that if you look at the players putting up those numbers, it really is amazing.

I'm hoping we do. Andy is a workhorse and a Great veteran but like most of the Yanks.....HE'S ANCIENT. Time for this ballclub to get back to their records of the 80's and early 90's. While I'm at it, the same goes for the Red Sox. SICK AND F*CKIN TIRED OF BOTH BALLCLUBS BEING PERENIAL POST SEASON CONTENDERS. No offence aimed at you GG, just being honest.

Maybe if the Blue Jays would win some games against them those teams wouldn't walk to the playoffs every year

He played in the NL East and in Citi Field which is a pitcher's haven. Also it's a different world pitching in the NL than in the AL. Not everyone can handle it. And he's long in the tooth. 162 Regular season wins dont mean shit if you lose the 4 in the World Series ask the Patriots how 16-0 went for them to lose to the NYG on the biggest stage of them all.

Yes I understand the Yankees are the most winning franchise in history of all sports, but most of that was done well before 1975.
