He's a smart guy on both sports and politics. His MSNBC show was the only national news/opinion show I've ever watched regularly outside of The Daily Show and Colbert Report, though the latter two are more comedy/political satire. That being said you're right in that from everything I've heard he doesn't maintain very good relationships with employers. And even leaving politics aside and focusing on sports commentary conservatives are likely to freak out over.

Why? Olbermann is excellent, especially on sports. He's not going to be talking politics if that's where you have the problem with him. I mean it's not like they're taking a political talking head who knows nothing about sports and having him do sports commentary as ESPN did with Limbaugh years ago.

I never cared much for his personality, even before he started working for MSNBC. And from what I've read, he's not a very nice guy.

He's horrible against the AL, I think we should trade him to an NL team. He isn't a good fit for the AL East at all.
