Hate to say this but a guy with a good arm is Brandon Inge... UGH GOD cant believe I just typed that. Hes thrown it from dead center in Comerica to home plate on a dot and gotten runners before.

Major changes to instant replay next year:

Major League Baseball decided Thursday to implement instant replay on virtually every play but the strikezone - including three manager's challenges per game - that will begin in 2014, Commissioner Bud Selig announced.

The replay will include up to three challenges that mangers will be provided during a game, one in the first six innings, and two beginning in the seventh inning through the game's duration. If a manager is successful with his replay challenge, he will not be charged with a review.

If a manager exhausts his three challenges, and umpire crew can make a review of its own only to determine home-run calls, a rule that will be grandfathered in with the new regulations.

Baseball, using its central MLBAM offices in New York, will be provided with replay cameras that will be monitored by men with umpiring experience. They will make the final call on disputed plays, not the crew chief.

Yes, it was very impressive. But it's not even close to a few that Ankiel has done.

Ok fine, Ankiel HAD a great arm. Puig has only been playing for just over 2 months in the bigs. Just give it some time. But honestly, even since his very first game against the Padres, he's shown that he has a Clemente-like cannon.

Everytime and always with a quick release like a catcher. He makes alot of these throws without even planting himself and giving himself a few steps.

Most players already hate A Rod, but if this story is true he'll be the biggest piranha in baseball history. There's a code in sports, and leaking stories about other players, especially a teammate, is about as unforgivable an act a player can commit:

"60 Minutes" has learned that members of New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez's inner circle in February obtained and leaked documents that implicated Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun as well as his own Yankees teammate, catcher Francisco Cervelli, in the doping scandal that has enveloped Major League Baseball.

The leak came just days after the weekly newspaper Miami New Times published documents in January detailing Rodriguez's pervasive use of performance enhancing drugs.

The handwritten documents of Anthony Bosch, the key witness in Major League Baseball's PED investigation, revealed comprehensive doping regimens that Bosch had engineered for a host of professional athletes. His cooperation with MLB has resulted in the suspension of Rodriguez and 13 other major league players.

Braun and Cervelli's names were redacted in the Miami New Times documents. Members of Rodriguez's camp at the time obtained unredacted versions and leaked them to Yahoo! Sports, according to two sources with direct knowledge of the matter. The unredacted documents also implicated Baltimore Oriole Danny Valencia, who MLB later investigated and cleared.

In a statement to "60 Minutes," Rodriguez lawyer David Cornwell said, "The allegations are untrue and are another attempt to harm Alex -- this time by driving a wedge between Alex and other players in the game. While Alex focuses on baseball and repeatedly states that he is going to respect the appeal process, the drumbeat of false allegations continues."

The Phillies have fired manager Charlie Manuel and named Ryne Sandberg as interim manager. Manuel had been the Phillies manager since 2002 and led them to the 2008 World Series title.

Former MLB player Chad Curtis, best known for his years with the Yankees in the late 90's is now a convicted child molester. I still don't get how 6 counts of molestation results in no more than 15 years in prison.

A jury in Barry County, Mich., needed only a few hours of deliberations to find former MLB outfielder Chad Curtis guilty of six counts of criminal sexual conduct against three teenage girls.

Curtis, 44, was working as a weight room trainer and substitute teacher. His duties also included massage therapy for muscle rehabilitation. He was arrested in May 2012 after two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old accused him of touching them inappropriately. The jury got the case around noon today and found him guilty on all counts.

Curtis played for six teams in 10 MLB seasons. He won the World Series with the Yankees in 1998 and '99. He faces up to 15 years in prison.

I had to go check and make sure I didn't have his autograph. It always makes me feel bad having something like that in my collection. Like I'm not sure what I'll do when I inherit my dad's collection and get an autographed Chris Benoit figure. :\
