Thanks to the TimeWarner and CBS dispute I cant watch Kershaw

Im stuck listening to it on the Radio as I was unable to find an online bootleg feed lol

Stephen Strasburg just threw one of the worst pitches I've ever witnessed..... twice in a row. Both pitches were behind the hitter.

And he got tossed because he'd had a warning for hitting Justin Upton earlier.

His 2nd inning involved walking Jordan Schafer on 4 straight. Then a wild pitch in the dirt in the left handed batter's box, followed by the 2 behind the hitter to score Schafer.

So, the big Minor/Strasburg match up in Atlanta? Minor gone after 1 2/3. Strasburg after 1+....

I know how you feel. I had to drop down a channel package with Fios, and now I don't get Fox Sports West. No more games on TV

Sports is the only reason I still keep cable around. I have an htpc setup so I can easily stream or find the shows we watch lol

Watching an inning like the Seattle half-inning in the Rangers/Seattle game is infuriating.

Ground ball to second, Kinsler wiffs on it. Slow grounder to first Moreland wastes enough time looking at second for the guy to get on. AJ throws to second when they catch the guy sneaking off base but he advances to third because Beltre was charging for a bunt so no one was at third. Then on a ground ball to first Moreland inexplicably throws to second instead of home.

Only gave up one run but that run shouldn't have made it past second, much less home.

Why oh why Rangers do you have such mental flubs in the field? It already cost you one World Series, why can't you get this crap straightened out? /sigh

He appealed, and as long as MLB isn't invoking the "greater good of the game" clause (which they aren't), you can play while appeal is still in queue.

I wonder if Scherzer gets the Cy Young just by having a better W-L record than everyone else. He's 18-1 but his ERA is almost half a run higher (6th) than the top pitchers in the AL and his WAR is well behind Hernandez's.

I think Felix and Greinke winning a few years back showed that the voters are past caring about W-L.

Hopefully you're right. I still remember that joke of a 2004 NL Cy Young vote where Randy Johnson should have easily won the award but lost it to Roger Clemens just because of W-L record. Johnson went 16-14 on what was one of the worst teams in MLB history.

Strasburg was intending to hit Simmons and simply lost his control.
