Dodgers win again. It was Puigtastic. He went 4-5. A-Gon hits a 2 run home run.....TWICE. Good game.

Fernandez deserves serious consideration for NL Rookie of the Year, although I'm sure Puig will get it. Fernandez has been outstanding, particularly in the last 3 months, but few people know about it because he plays for a team nobody cares about and his record isn't fantastic because of how bad the Marlins offense is. He only has 3 losses in the last 3 months and in each of those losses he gave up 3 or fewer runs. He also has had 5 no decisions in which he went at least 6 innings and gave up 2 or fewer earned runs.

Not sure whats better, the actual catch, or the reaction by both parites afterwards

Thats gotta be one of the top plays of the year, at least in the top 5

Yankees are making a go at the playoffs. Only 4 GB from 2nd WC spot and if the Rays lose tonight it will be 3.5.

With the Rays loss it's now 3.5 GB. I hope they pull this out. If the Yankees make the playoffs Girardi should be Manager of the Year. All year he has had to cobble a lineup together in one of the toughest divisions in baseball. Our ace has looked like shit. Our Captain has been out for most of the year. It's been really impressive how he's been able to keep us within striking distance.

Rangers don't need to worry about their pitchers/opposing bats. The Rangers need to worry about the fact that they routinely make mediocre pitchers look like Cy Young candidates.
