I watched the game today and I really thought we were going to lose again. But our offense came through!

Andy Pettitte will announce his retirement this afternoon. His final home game will be Sunday against the Giants, and his final start will be Friday or Saturday in Pettitte's hometown of Houston.

Probably won't get in. I would vote for him and Moose who I think is a very similar type player. Neither will probably get in. He was borderline w/out PED issue, so that tips scales in the other direction. We will have Mo and DJ3K in the HOF.

Posada deserves a HOF nod when he's eligible.

It shouldn't affect it at all because he's not a HOF player. Solid career, but his career ERA (3.86) and WHIP (1.354) aren't anything special. Also, despite his gaudy postseason win totals, his playoff ERA and WHIP are about the same as his regular season and the true ace of the dynasty run was El Duque, not Petitte.

Yankees legends regardless and that is a great accomplishment in itself.

Ummm no. From 1999 - 2000, Roger was the clear ace. In 1996 he wasn't even on the team. In 1998 he was no doubt our most solid pitcher, but that's just 1 out of the 4 WS seasons was he our best pitcher.
