Once again it looks like the bullpen got tired by the end of the season. Fredi is great at maximizing them during the regular season but Carpenter had pitched a lot of innings this year. Even Avilan was looking hittable in the final two weeks.

I've always respected Brian McCann but he did his usual late-season fade that has become increasingly common in the last four years. His bat looked so slow in September that he should have been dropped in the lineup.

I was at the Dodger game tonight. It was nuts!! Probably the best game I've ever been to. I was sitting reserve level 3rd base side near the foul pole. It took over an hour to leave the stadium but I don't care. So worth it!!! Hopefully the pirates win on Wednesday.

Go Dodgers!!!

I don't even mind losing, but how we lose. Why can't we play like we always do instead of just absolutely crapping the bed? Errors, bullpen failures, starting pitching that has sucked, you name it, it happens. Has been this way with the team since '93 (outside of '95 of course).

If we played well and got beat, that is one thing. But it's another when you feel like you just crapped the bed.

A's half a game from eliminating the Tigers. Moneyball at it's finest. If Beane can finally win one, it will validate all he's done.

Wow what a game. Definitely fan interference but I don't think Reddick would have caught that ball. Definite momentum shift.

Came out of this game to head to Oakland.

A's are a very good team, & I don't think we've played as good as we can in this series.
