Exactly, cheating or not, the cards sucked last night, plain and simple....the Cards aren't going to do nothing about it, the minor league player probably deleted his posts after being told by higher ups because the Cards aren't going to do anything about it, honestly, what could they do, it happened.......move on. The Cardinal organization doesn't play games like that.......

Of course a Boston radio station is going to play it off as being "no big deal", its done all the time....blah blah blah....you cannot put a foreign substance on the ball....plain and simple.....need a better grip, dry your hands with the rosin bag, that's all you can do.....

Outspoken Cleveland Indians closer Chris Perez said Friday he believes there are pitchers on every team who use pine tar and other substances to manipulate the ball.

“If before every game if they stopped and checked everybody’s gloves or something there would be one or two guys on every team that would just get popped,” he said.

Clarifying comments he made earlier on a satellite radio show, Perez, a former Cardinal, said he wasn’t specifically calling out St. Louis for doing it.

“I’ve only played for two teams and more guys did it on the Cardinals than here,” he said. “That’s the only thing I was trying to say. It wasn’t like an organizational thing.”

But please, Buck and McCarver, ease back on the throttle a bit when it comes to verbally blowing Wacha. Last time I looked, there were other players on the Cardinals in addition to Wacha (and oh yeah, there is another team on the field as well ).

They do over do the Wacha stuff.....but how often does a 22 year old come along like that? He only has 13 starts in the majors to begin with.....BUT Buck and McCarver never give praise to the Cardinals, (it was kind of nice hearing them praise the Cardinals for once) every year that we are in the post season, they degrade them......Joe Buck wouldn't be where he is today without his dad, and he was a Cardinals announcer, and McCarver played for the Cardinals, but we get tired of them constantly degrading the Cardinals.....I'll admit its not as bad this year as it was in 2011......in 2011, its almost as if the Cardinals shouldn't have even been there.....

Go ahead Buck and McCarver, keep it up, not many people in St. Louis like you guys anymore.....

Very true regarding Wacha. He did a great job last night (and this is coming from a Red Sox fan) and I can understand the praise. The talent actually matches the hype, something that doesn't happen often (Tim Tebow, anyone?). But by the time they got to interviewing the parents I said to myself "audio, off!". It was just overkill. If they talked about David Ortiz or John Lester that much during a game, I would have had the same reaction: overkill. Even if they have to lie, they should talk about the rest of the team (in last night's case, the Cards) in equal amounts.

Sorry, rambled on for a bit. But damn, I HATE those two guys. They are killing an otherwise great series so far.
