I live in South Jersey, believe me, there's plenty. Seriously? Yankees fans are humble? Did I not see Victorino in a skirt on the New York Post? Was there not an entire page in this very thread of people claiming "whoever won the ALCS will steamroll over whoever wins the NLCS?" Is there not a performance of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys singing about "New York" tonight?

How can you question how many Yankees fans I know based on a generalization I made, yet you make the same generalization yourself? As far as the 10,000 losses, I never understood that argument. Yes, the franchise as a whole has not done well historically, but this core group of players have been quite successful, why should they have to carry the shame of teams past who weren't as good as them?

Rollins has always been this way, I honestly don't like it, even if he's come through and backed up his own words (ask any Mets fan). But again, you're making a generalization, Rollins is cocky, not the team.

They at least have produced to a level where they should be relevant over the years, where as they win one world series since 1980 and now they are the greatest.

I'll take the poison that actually has a case to say they deserve it.

And their fans have had egos since the 30's so I'll take that over bandwagon fans that get some wins and now they're the greatest. (just like tampa last year)

And I'd probably do the same thing if the O's were kicking everyones butts hypocrite

I just hope the Yankees score some runs. No more strikeouts. I've never seen Pedro catch a line drive behind his back so hopefully we'll be in good hands. I'm still trying to get over how well Lee was last night I mean...it's just unbelievable.

Tough play for A-Rod. I hope he doesn't beat himself up about it. The Fox announcers would leave you to believe it was an error, but it wasn't exactly a routine play.
