He's a crazy guy.

I remember the steroid speculation in early June when he was up to 20 home runs after the first 56 games of the season.

He was on pace to hit 58 HRs, which in itself isn't that crazy, even though only 1 player has hit more than 50 HRs in the last 3 years (A-Rod hit 54 in 2007). But the fact that he averages something like 20-25 per year made it seem a little odd... although not as odd as Brady Anderson in '96.

Anyhow, in the last 106 games of the season, he hit only 14 more, to finish with 34.

I don't think CC was too bad. 2 runs in 7 innings isn't bad. It just looked bad relative to the way Lee was dealing.

There was the brief trouble in the 2nd inning (I think Howard doubled, and then CC walked the next two guys), but not much beyond that. The first HR to Utley was just a good at-bat by Utley... something like a 9-pitch at-bat, and Utley finally drilled one over the fences.

The 2nd home run was a mistake by Sabathia, because Posada wanted a changeup, CC wanted a fastball. Posada wanted it inside, and CC threw it over the plate.

But all-in-all, 2 runs in 7 innings isn't bad from your starter. The bullpen blew the game, and the offense didn't show up.

Steroid speculation my Arse, someone posted some complete B.S. on a blog about fantasy baseball I guess you consider that pertinent information when considering a mans stand up reputation, you just trying to bash another one of the Major's class acts, How about Jeter the Cheater, we could go on with this crap forever with your beloved team.

My favorite part of the Matsui home run was the guy about 10-15 feet away from where it landed, who launched his cup of beer up into the air. I'm sure everyone near him was thrilled.
