Jeff Samardzija has to be getting pretty tired of pitching for the Cubs. So far this season he has pitched 7 innings in all 4 of his starts and in those starts has given up 0 earned runs, 2 earned runs, 1 earned run, and 3 earned runs, for a total ERA of 1.29. So far he is 0-1, and unless the Cubs offense gets going he's going to move to 0-2 after today's game. Samardzija is likely going to be traded at some point this year as he and the Cubs can't agree on his value, and I'm sure he can't wait.

Edit: The game is final, Samardzija has fallen to 0-2.

But it's up to the bullpen for the last 2....

He's actually allowed 2 hits though. On the first one, while the guy was called out and the Mets could have challenged, the Braves got a "4th out" by throwing over to 3rd and getting an out there as the runner tried to advance, so the Mets had no motivation to challenge. On the second one, no clue why it wasn't challenged, as the manager did come out to argue.

Are we clear?" the agent reportedly said, while looking into Mr. Met's "very soul with his blank, unblinking stare."

The agent then repeated himself. "Approach the president, and we go for the kill shot," the agent told Mass. "ARE–WE–CLEAR?"

Mass wrote that agents first grew suspicious when he failed to get Mr. Met's giant head through security without setting off the metal detectors.

Did you watch? Harang was really struggling to get through the 7th. If the guy hadn't chased, he would have walked the bases loaded.

And the Giants STILL paid him $17 mill for 2014 and $18 mill for 2015. They keep giving him contracts as though he's magically going to revert back to being a Cy Young caliber starter, which he hasn't been close to since 2011.

Giants have a problem with paying players for what they've done and not based off current talent

Oh well, hes still won more then any current Braves pitcher, combined
