If we want to talk about history, he can't touch Maddux. But history means shit when you might single-handedly keep your team from the playoffs. And getting paid like the "ace" he hasn't been for 3 years. His contract might actually be worse than Ryan Howard's.

I know, and it's nothing against you or anything with the Braves players, but I get tired of all the people that argue about X being better than Y because they have a title. Unless it's an individual sport (say golf or tennis), it means nothing. Same for the people (say, I don't know, Yankee or Dodgers fans) who think the fact their teams have won a lot of championships in the past has any bearing on this or any future seasons.
