The Braves deal with TBS ended in 2007. The only reason they were on TBS all the time was because Ted Turner (and then Time Warner once they bought Turner Broadcasting) owned the team so he'd put the games on TBS, which was also owned by Turner Broadcasting. TBS stopped carrying Braves games when Time Warner sold the team to Liberty Media.

lol, Ron Roenicke with 1 out and runners on 2nd and 3rd with a 1-run lead just made a pitching change with nobody warming up. He called for a lefty and Duke came out. Wasn't who he wanted so they had Will Smith come in. Now all hell has broken loose and the umps are having New York review...something.

Fate covered it well. Only TBS games are the Sunday national one. Braves are rarely on it. They did have about 35 games on Time Warner owned Peachtree TV which took over the TBS airwaves locally, but Fox (both Fox Sports South and SportsSouth are owned by them) purchased those this year, so they no longer have any ties to Time Warner.

I was so annoyed that the Rangers let the Tigers out of the terrible Prince Fielder contract, and now he's going out with neck surgery and is lost for the year.

What a great pickup. The type of pick up that can make the team bad for a long long time. /sigh

That trade never made any sense for the Rangers, even with the Tigers paying $30 million of Prince's salary. It was virtually guaranteed that sometime in the next couple years Prince was going to get injured because guys his size do not stay healthy once they get into their 30s. Even if they were getting rid of a terrible contract it would have been questionable, but Ian Kinsler had a perfectly reasonable contract and if they felt the need to trade him they could have done so without taking on an albatross.

No joke that pitch clocked in at 58 MPH the sound hes making is him swearing because he did not swing lol.

Yeah most likely that pitch would have been fouled as that bat would have been so far out ahead of the pitch arriving.

Hindsight is 20/20, I wouldn't blame it all on him. Have you been looking at our whole team? We've pretty much got a triple A team out there with how many injuries our teams suffered. Even Beltre's doing horrible at the plate.

Because they played 5 straight against Chicago (Cubs & White Sox) and if it wasn't for 2 9th inning comeback wins that they were scoreless until the 9th, would have lost all 5. Yankees, Orioles, Red Sox, everyone is playing like crap in the East. Toronto is just lucky right now; they'll fold like everyone else is.
