Hindsight? I hated the trade from the moment it was made. I openly mocked Detroit for making that contract only to have my team take it for some reason I still do not understand, except perhaps desperation.

With the whole deal that happened with Cruz , we really needed another big bat in the lineup besides Beltre. At the time, a lefty power hitter seemed like a no brainer considering our short distanced right field fence and considering Kinslers been nothing but a pop fly machine for us the past few seasons. That and coiled with the fact that we have an up n comer in Profar who unfortunately got hurt in spring training is why it seemed like a fair trade.

Braves took 5 of 7 from the Brewers and Rockies this week. And now we get 4 (2 home, 2 away) against a team that's lost 10 straight... so we'll get swept.
