Not sure I like this move.

I think Hughes could've gotten 2 more outs, and the Yankees could've saved Rivera's arm.

I think since Ruiz was late on the fastball on the previous pitch, Posada and/or Hughes felt like throwing another of the same thing, and Ruiz wasn't going to be fooled twice.

I don't think it's any sign that Hughes was in danger.

I would've let him pitch to Stairs, and if Stairs got on, then bring Rivera in (before it gets ugly and the 3, 4, and 5 hitters start to get on deck).

Oh well, no point debating it much. Yankees win.

I think that I personally would like to have seen Hughes stay in the game also.

Congrats are due to the Yanks and their true fanbase, they woke up tonite and I just hope that it rubs off on the Phillies and a few players that are M I A . We'll look to tie it up and pull away before we head up the Turnpike,

Pettitte also pitched great from the 3rd inning on. Plus his base hit was cool to see.

Can't wait to see CC bat tomorrow, since he actually has a bit of power.

Yankees won 1 game, which is all they needed to do in Philly. Winning 2 games would obviously be better though, and I like their chances tomorrow.

The one guy I even invited to come with me to the ALDS and he said he "couldn't get into it" now he's rooting for the Phillies...I can't stand people like that. I wear my Yankees hat every day. I think it's odd that now the Yankees are in the WS...now all the hats are coming out. Anyone else seeing a huge pull in fans?

even if CC some how loses tonight

you know he wont go 0-3 if he can get it here then AJ can shut it down.

Obviously, Utley won't see CC until game 7 if it goes to the last game..but if it does and he faces CC again, they need to walk him. 3 hr's in one series...unbelievable. He has clearly figured out all of CC's mechanics.
