Braves new stadium will be called SunTrust Park (yet another bank stadium). I was hoping Coca-Cola, Chik-fil-A, Waffle House or Home Depot would step up. Of course, there's still the Falcons stadium to be named.

My team is the Texas Rangers, who were the very first team eliminated from the playoffs, and set an MLB record for number of injuries, number of pitchers used, number of starting pitchers used, and number of players used in a year.

Just waiting for the playoffs to start. I waited 17 years for the Orioles to win their division but honestly since there was no other competition it really wasn't all that exciting.

Yankees yesterday became the 1st team to reach 15,000 HR (Brett Gardner did the honors). Also, Tanaka pitched very well yesterday (and got the win). Depending on how he feels today, will determine if he'll throw Fri against the Bo Sox.

Yeah, Yanks anemic hitting is what killed their playoff chances. If Beltran, and Tex just did a little better we'd probably be a safe bet for the wild card spot at the very least. The substitute pitchers did a pretty good job filling in my opinion. Betances was a beast in the bullpen too, just an amazing rookie year.
