Haha. That HR is unacceptable. How do you get out two good HR hitters, and then give up a bomb to a guy who hit 12 HRs this season? Though I guess at this point in the game, the Phillies are swinging for the fences anyway, so it's slightly more likely that a mistake will be costly.

Well at least they'll get Matsui to pinch-hit to lead off the inning. Let's see if he can repeat last night's pinch-hit performance.

And from there it's the top of the lineup. Hopefully they can string something together.

Yeah. I've thought all along that the Yankees only needed to win 1 of the 3 games in Philly, but after it was looking like they'd take this game too, it kind of stinks to think of them losing this one. I never like the away team's chances in extra-innings.

I also realized that I've already written Game 5 off as a loss in my head. I guess it's possible that the Yankees can still win that one.

The Captain struck out....I don't know how much more I can take. Home field advantage...you know how this usually ends.

Game 5 is plausible but I am worried about Lee. Granted, he'll never pitch against the Yankees like he did in Game 1 ever again...but he's still very competitive and has had enough rest. So you know that he will bring it all.

Utley is the patsy...he had to hit that homerun...and Joba...ahh.

Put in Pettite! He looked sharp last night..maybe he can get another hit lol.

On the bright side, if the Yankees can hold off the Phillies in the 9th, they have a better shot in the 10th, with the heavy hitters due up, plus Lidge will probably be out of the game (unless the Phillies are crazy and let him bat in the bottom of the 9th, essentially wasting an at-bat).

Call me crazy, but I'd send Damon here.

If he gets out, oh well. Then you get Teix, and A-Rod up in the 10th.

If he makes it, you suddenly have a chance to take the lead with a base hit.
