They are a dynasty. They lost one year because Posey's leg got broken in the middle of the season.

Bumgarner's pitching was the craziest thing I've seen in the playoffs since Game 6 of 1986.

That is called an excuse. Not saying they should have won with Posey out, but not making it as a wildcard that year meh...

What other dynasty misses the playoffs entirely in between each of their titles?

Pats = dynasty
Yanks = dynasty
Bulls = dynasty
Lakers = dynasty
Oilers = dynasty

Dynasty no doubt, only a handful of teams have done what Giants have done in a 5 year span... Oh also Bochy first ballot hall of famer

You can also throw in Bumgarner for the most dominating pitcher in world series history

Congrats Nav on another great win! This team has become quite amazing these last 4-5 years. I'm sure you're incredibly proud of what they managed to achieve in this short time span. It's a good time to be a giants fan.
