Tigers shipped
Robbie Ray (The guy they traded Fister for WTF!) to Diamondbacks
Domingo Leyba Infielder to Diamondbacks

Yankees Shipped Shane Greene to Detroit

Diamondbacks Shipped Didi Gregorius to Yankees (Gregorius is rumored to be the Yankees preferred replacement for Jeter)

Shane Greene had a lot more room to grow especially in a rotation where he need a young arm like him. Awful trade. We already had Brendan Ryan in the glove department.

Out of curiosity, did you not see any potential in Shane Greene? The Yankees definitely need to sign a low end starter now.

I want Shields. Of course I saw potential in Greene, but Didi is young, a position of need, and is under team control for a couple of years.

Makes a lot more sense to sign Drew than to trade away a young member of the pitching rotation for a guy that hasn't hit. Who knows? Maybe he'll find his stride in Spring training. I'm hoping the yankees take a good look at Liriano or see if they can trade for Hamels.

No to either of those pitchers. A nice 2-3 year deal for Shields would be much better.

The yanks aren't gonna get Shields. If they're going after any of the big 3 it's gonna be the other two. That's what the reports say at least.

Give Stephen Drew a whole year + an actual Spring workout and he'll be a lot better than Didi.

David Robertson you were a pretty good closer in the wake Mo retiring. Definitely will be missed. It just so happens we have Betances who is a stud plus once we signed Andrew Miller I knew he would be gone. Hope you find success in Chicago just not against us.

Looks like we will receive Chicago's pick in the draft, which looks to be the #8 overall.
