It makes you a pessimist. The AL east (AKA the AL least) is a weak division. There is no team that head and shoulders better than everyone else. Everyone outside of the Rays has a shot to win it.

Classic Jays bullpen meltdown. They've given away so many games the last couple seasons.

That's their one big weakness. Every team in that division has a big weakness.

The reconstructed bullpen for the Braves doesn't look half bad. I bet they hope Johnson and Grilli pitch well enough so they can be flipped around the trade deadline.

It was wrong seeing Kimbrel in San Diego's uniform.

This is the first year I do not believe that we are a playoff team. I just don't see it

The division is wide open. Every team (besides the Rays) has a legitimate shot at winning it.

I'm not worried about Johnson and Grilli. It's the 4 rookies in the pen that scares the crap out of me.

You said it. Not me. Sometimes in the past, Girardi has left me scratching my head with moves he made (relying on that binder of his too much). Today, when Elsbury was on 2nd with on outs and with Garnder at bat, he doesn't have him bunt (luckily, he hit a shot to 1st which allowed Elsbury to go to 3rd).

The Giants are pissing me off. Runners all over the bases tonight and can't get the big hit. Heston looks really good.

Doesn't sound like you understand business and in this case the business of baseball. The Cubs did the right thing, the smart thing that most teams would do. It's not like the guy is going to be down in the minors for the rest of his life. You don't trade a few days to lose one year that is just a stupid business decision. And who cares if you were pissed if the Giants had done that. And if you knew anything about your team the Giants you would know that they DID do this with Buster Posey.
