How many times have I been critical of them and how many times have other fans hated on them? This isn't just a recent occurrence. I've been hearing it since the early 90s.... But when you have success for a sustained period of time, you will get the haters who are jealous of that success.

As expected Cubs are calling up Bryant on Friday

I give Epstein props keep him down a couple of weeks keep him under contract if he does good extend him, if he wont resign trade him for a bunch of prospects to someone in contention as a rental. Umpire really screwed the Cubs before that HR. Clear strike.

Maybe Bryant will make contact at some point today. But, he has a big chance right about now.

Regular season is a whole different animal than spring training.

Indeed. He didn't see the likes of Regular season James Shields in the spring or @ Iowa. I was still rooting for him to do something, though. Must be disappointing to have all that attention and have such a dismal day. Maybe he will get one more crack at it.

Not overly concerned about Bryant, it would have been very difficult to live up to the hype in his first game, but it sucks losing on a terrible ball call by the ump.

I really don't even think Bryant should have played today. Played a minor league game last night, got hardly any sleep and to top it off they hit him 4th. Kind of unfair to the kid.

I wouldn't be concerned either. One game is nothing.

I knew our offense was going to take a hit when we lost Panda, and then Pence for a month or so, but didn't think it was going to be this bad

Heston is the real deal. He looked great again tonight. Offense was still fairly poor with RISP, but they got enough. Was nice to get a win on ring ceremony day;Those rings are incredible.

Dodgers series could be ugly.

Heston has looked really good early on, the lone bright spot this season, we should size him for a world series ring next year

Looks like it worked, Yankees got the sweep. A-rod is killin it. Don't like the guy, but he can hit.

The Mariner game was awesome, nice to see them get a walk-off after those Dodger games. I get every Mariner game, so nice to see them finally have a good team.

Giants, meh. Another loss.
