Braves haven't had one since Kent Mercker no-hit the Dodgers in LA in 1994. They've only had 3 in Atlanta (Phil Neikro in 1978 against San Diego and Mercker/Mark Wohlers/Alejandro Pena in 1991 against San Diego), and 2 in my lifetime.

In an odd move Dan Jennings will replace Mike Redmond, who was fired yesterday, as the Marlins manager. Jennings has been in the Marlins front office since 2002 and became their GM following the 2013 season but his managerial experience is limited to a high school team in Alabama early in his career. No word yet on if Jennings will remain GM of the Marlins, but it seems unlikely as juggling both jobs seems like too much work in MLB. Regardless, this is yet another unconventional move by the Marlins.

Yeah, i got up to use the bathroom and came back to see him trotting the bases.

This was supposed to be on MLB network, but of course they decided to show the stellar match-up between the Rockies and Phillies. I must be in the Colorado region instead of California or something.

Watching on a crappy stream, as usual.
