Tigers may not be done now Gordon is out for 8-10 weeks so we may still have some shot if it affects KC if not then the Tigers need to sell, Let go of Price, Avila, Soria, Cespedes, Rajai and retool the farm for next season. They could probably get some great prospects and a few that can be starters next season for them.

The franchise four feature before the game was interesting, and it says a lot about how great the Yankees history is when Derek Jeter, Yogi Berra, and Whitey Ford don't make it and you really can't argue they were snubbed. It was also interesting that Nolan Ryan made it for the Angels, Astros, and Rangers.

Not gonna matter. Not one of the American League teams currently in first place are good enough to beat any of the National League teams in a best of seven. It probably won't go seven. The Yankees have NO pitching, the Royals got lucky last year. They'll probably win the division, but Yost can't get out from behind himself when come to boneheaded managerial decisions. And the Astros will be one playoff series and done. Mariners if they get hot, and their pitching comes around could be no joke though...

Washington probably the best all around team but past playoff failures weigh on that franchise. Probably the Cardinals or Pirates will go to the World Series. Dodgers can't win when there in the playoffs, so I doubt that will change. The Giants have pitching issues, and it is a odd year...

I was pleased that the Washington 4 were rightfully all Montreal Expos players.

Outside AJ Burnett none of Pittsburgh's players were even born yet, to have it matter. And Pittsburgh has had a somewhat successful first playoff run after 21 years, can the Nats say that? NO...I don't think so...
