Well, since haven't been there since 93, GM's in that position are putting all their eggs in one basket.

He's gonna bolster that struggling offense for sure! If you guys make the playoffs that will be a scary pitching staff to go against

I love the move, I kind of hated losing Fulmer for a possible 8 week rental, but also relieved that Wheeler wasn't part of the deal!

I couldn't agree more, Colon has been struggling lately, and you never know what your going to get from Niese. But going against Degrom, Harvey, Matz and Syndergaard in a playoff series is a scary proposition.

The deadline has come and gone and we've basically done nothing. I see Severino coming up and it will be interesting how active we are in the waiver wire.

EDIT: I'm glad we didn't trade any of our A type prospects.

This GM is either a genius or he's going to be enemy #1 if it fails miserably.

Anthopoulos is going all in for this year. He has a good eye for talent, but these have been some bold moves for sure.

Severino and Judge are off limits. And don't trade Mateo for a reliever and a weak 2B.

I swear, the Angels have a knack for making terrible trading choices. Screw the depth, we didn't need DeJesus or Victorino. Joyce obviously wasn't working out, but you send down Robertson to make room for those two, when he was already doing plenty well and certainly better than them? I don't get it. If they only went after Murphy and that's it, I would be fine with that, and I'll give him more time to settle in. I just think this move to get whatever veterans were available is more so going to bite them in the butt, and it's already showing.
