Damn the next few weeks schedule should decide whether or not if the Giants are going to the playoffs

4 @ Cubs
2 vs Astros
4 vs nationals
3 @ cards
4 @ pirates
3 vs Cubs
3 vs Cards
3 @ Dodgers

Talk about a brutal August schedule

I can't figure out the Rangers this year.

After sweeping the Astros, the Rangers are 36-22 against winning teams and 18-31 against non-winning teams.

They are also 23-29 at home and 31-24 on the road.

How weird.

Cubs upcoming schedule isn't near as difficult as the Giants. After the Giants series they play a 4-game series against the Brewers, a 3-game series at the White Sox, a 2-game series against the Tigers, a 4-game series against the Braves, and a makeup game against the Indians before heading to Cali for 3 games against the Giants and 3 against the Dodgers. None of the teams between Giants series have winning records. They also don't have to leave the city of Chicago again until August 25 since their only road series is a crosstown series.

Yeah I saw the Giants don't play a team with a losing record until Sept. 3 I think.

Have faith! Some of those teams aren't playing great. Just glad to get out of Atlanta with a series victory. Not to worried about the Cubs. They are like Jekyll and Hyde. No consistency what so ever.

That is very weird. I would ask if the Texas heat is affecting their home record but both teams have to play in it and you would think the road team is going to be more affected by it because the Rangers should be more used to it. I know I heard one Astro fan suggest that we got swept because we tired out playing in the heat and we are spoiled by playing indoors at Minute Maid whenever it gets too hot.

No Leake, no Panik.... smh. And at the worst possible time.

I did read Leake would be eligible to return after his next scheduled start, so hopefully he only misses one more.

If only the Giants could stay healthy...

Blue jays are on fire... I think there like 10-1 since the Tulo trade and another gem by Price today, there gonna take that division easily if things continue like this

Still a long way to the end of the season, but we're playing some really good ball right now. We have to stay focused on the goal at hand.

Yeah, trade all of our top prospects of a guy that up to this year has been made out of glass and is owed about 80 million (Tulo) and for another guy has publicly stated that he'll never play for the Yankees (Price).

THey just did, about a week ago the Yanks were up 7.5 games, now it's down to 1.5

And we're about to get swept by the Cubs
