Technically, no. Realistically, probably. Certainly not getting the division. But if they get really hot, they're only 12 back of wild card. Braves and Red Sox choked away leads not much more than that in September alone.

So because I thought we were going to be 4th for the division, that somehow means that I should sit this season out.... Sorry to say that I don't believe we will win the division every year (I hope they do! But that's impossible). I guess I'm more of a realist.

You're a doom and gloomer. What makes it even worse, you become a negative nancy after the 1st game of the season. Now, I never said that we were going to win the division at the beginning of the season, I only said let the games be played because nobody in the division is a clear cut favorite. If we continue to struggle with our offense, we won't win it (we won't even get a wil card). If we get back to what we were doing offensively, we will win the division.

It was a bit of a pitchers duel. It doesn't help that our offense has disappeared without Springer but that doesn't take anything away from Bumgarner. I think 7 of the first 9 outs were strikeouts.
Brandon Belt had his homerun bat last night and Kazmir seems he may be have an issue with throws to first on bunts. In his last start, he threw the ball away at first on a bunt attempt. Then last night, he took a long time to concentrate and make an accurate throw after a bunt and the runner beat it out. So then innings later, another batter bunts the ball and Kazmir rushes which leads to another bad throw to first. The runner on first comes around to score and the batter gets all the way to third.
