I picked the Cubs to win it all when wild cards were announced but I'm not so sure if they got the pitching to combat the Mets. Jacob DeGrom is such a success story..he really came out of nowhere.

Royals have now scored 38 runs in the last 37 innings starting with that 5-run 8th inning comeback vs Houston. They are red hot right now. My only hope for this series was Dickey pitching a gem and the knuckle ball screwing up their swings. So much for that.

god damn stupid ass ivy! it should be illegal and they should cut that crap away. The Cubs shouldnt have there own special rule about a ball stuck in ivy. Doesnt matter if the ivy is old, they should cut it so that the only choice for the ball is too bounce against the wall, not get stuck.

It's as if the Cubs need an extra cheating handicap just because they cant ever win.
