Not so fast. The staff is better better than last years. Old man Dickey and sir chokes a lot are not part of the starting staff this year.

I am a Cubs fan but I went to bed after the 9th. It was about 12:30 (Central time) and I have to be up at 5:30 so I needed to get some sleep. I can only imagine how much worse it is for fans in the Eastern time zone.

I was in Sec 518 for Sunday night's series-winning game in Toronto, wow what an atmosphere. Tense game, place just went absolutely nuts, replay, no interference, nuts again, so good!

Jays pitching is much better than last year and Liriano should be in the bullpen by Game 2 which is huge making up for losing Benoit which sucks. Osuna gets plenty of rest before Game 1. Exciting times!

Haven't been on in a few days (between the 49ers and Rangers, I have been huddled away in a dark corner).

Congrats to the Blue Jays on winning the series, looking forward to some more great Postseason action.

I still remember 04 and the almost week straight of 2am bed times and just being exhausted from it mentally and physically.

I went to bed around 11:30, also for a 6am call. Put the radio feed from KNBR the Giants flagship. Woke up to hear it the score tied, and again when they won. Not ideal, as I haven't missed a game during any of the prior world series runs...

This isn't the NBA or NHL, No reason to start a game at 9:30pm. MLB is still more popular than either of those leagues, and starting playoff games later than 8pm is inexcusable, and unacceptable. There are fans that spend hard earned money on the product that MLB produces, and shouldn't have to miss key playoff games because of poor scheduling. No wonder the NFL, has become the most popular sport.

It's been hard for me to care about baseball since 1991...I rarely even know which teams make the post-season or when it starts.
