So my TBS feed went out on Dish last night during the top of the 9th while they were replaying whether the runner was out on first. Tried all the TVs in my house and every channel worked except TBS, and a quick search of Twitter showed this outage happened to a lot of people. Fortunately I was able to get on my Fire TV, download the TBS app, and get it to work by the time the bottom of the 9th started but I'm sure a lot of people didn't have that option. Regardless it was great to see the Cubs pull it off.

Tough loss for the Yankees. Hats off to Houston for showcasing the better pitching in this one. Hopefully, New York can tie things up before Game 3. Offense needs to wake up before it gets out of reach.

When Bird was thrown out at home, I knew it wasn’t going to be our night. The Astos had way too much momentum on their side. We’ll just have to win game 2.

I expect the Yankees to bounce in game 2.The same thing happened in Cleveland after the emotional wildcard win. It certainly was a terrific game and the throw to get Bird at home was incredible. I thought he was scoring for sure, and then in came the ball out of no where and a great tough play by Mcann to handle it and apply the tag. I hope all the games between these two are this good.

Two brutally tough losses for the Yanks, if they are able to tie the series against this Astro team, it will be a miracle I would love to see.
